May Monthly Round Up

Roll up roll up, another busy month here at 23rd Precinct Music. No rest for the wicked on what's been a surprisingly summery month in Scotland. Check out some our highlights!

It was another marvellous month for our long term writer Les Hemstock who's track 'Angel Chorus' lapped up the support from dance heavyweights including Aly & Fila, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Armin Van Buuren & Paul Van Dyk to name a few.

Our writer and one of Ireland's most respected trance producers Ciaran McAuley continued his impressive trek over the globe which has seen him support the like of Above & Beyond and Aly & Fila. This month he performed to thousands in San Francisco at Trance Family's 9th Year Anniversay alongside fellow top trance producers Jase Thirwall, Ferry Tayle and more.

Our writer Sarah Jane Johnson featured on 'Let There Be House - Ibiza' compilation with a track 'We Can Have It All'. Undoubtedly one of the soundtracks to our summer, Sarah Jane's collaboration with producer Ashley Benjamin is quite magical.

The Nickajack Men had an exceptionally exciting month headlining Vibration Festival in their hometown, announcing their album fundraiser event on July 5th and announced as performers at this year's Indian Summer Festival. Tickets are on sale for their highly anticipated album fundraiser which features support from Quiche.

Neo soul superstar and Glasgow legend Mark McGowan took to trips down south performing to packed out crowds courtesy of an Antidote Booking series which including dates in London & Brighton. He also teased us all with an exciting new video from his 2018's EP 'Speakeasy'. Keep your eyes peeled for the official 'Bones' video dropping soon.

One of our longest serving writers and producer's Mark Sherry dropped his highly anticipated album 'Confirm Humanity' out on Blackhole Recordings. The tech trance, sci-fi space age album is a transportation into another world with MixMag agreeing and making it their Album of The Month.

There was more good news with Mark signing an extension to his publishing contract to stay with us here at 23rd Precinct Music until 2024. So pleased to continue our long successful relationship!

There's no stopping Rachel Barror who this month signed another track to a major dance label. This time, a collaboration with Tuff London was snapped up by Spinnin' Records. We can't wait for you all to hear this incredible track! Rachel also signed off on another collaboration with electronic dance music producer Kidd Ross who's set to release the single next month.

There was brand new music this month from one of our newest editions to the 23rd Precinct Music team - Callum Ross. A perfect blend of lo-fi pop and cool R&B, the track 'Forever' has been received well in the music community. We can't wait for you to all hear more music from this incredibly exciting young talent.

We're also pleased with a recent blossoming partnership with 23rd Precinct Music and Glasgow based electronic duo We Should Hang Out More. Renown for their fun disco, house parties and superlative taste in music, we jumped at the opportunity with work with such an esteem pair of producers. Their impending release 'Tradeston Knights E.P' out on Midnight Riot Records is one of our first acquirements!
