TACO BELL AND DANCING STREET GANGS FIGHT THE LIMITATIONS OF #TACOTUESDAY
Incase you missed it, we're over the moon with the recent news that our writer PYLOT's track 'Fearless' landed a spot in Taco Bell's rallying 'Taco's too good for one day' ad. So says Taco Bell, which is challenging the status quo decries the relegation of tacos to just Tuesday nights. “Tacos are TOO good to be shackled to just one day. Tacos should be for be ANY day,” reads the heartfelt diatribe. “So here’s to you Taco Monday. Good on ya Taco Wednesday. Taco Thursday, we see you. Taco Friday? Yup. Taco Saturday, Taco Sunday—please and thank you.”
A 60-second spot from Deutsch and directed by Warren Fu via Partizan celebrates this new world order with a throwback to cinematic gang battles of the past. Channeling “The Warriors” and the dance battle in “Beat It,” the taco-focused gangs—the Hard Shells, the Soft Shells and Los Locos—fight for supremacy in denim and roller skates.

For us here at 23rd Precinct Music, it's great to get this big project over the line - working closely with PYLOT and the Notting Hill Music team over in Los Angeles. PYLOT's musical profile has been growing exponentially with his instantly recognisable sound : synthwave, bold electronica, outer-worldly story telling tracks. PYLOT's previous releases have seen him work with esteem labels such as Monstercat & FiXT Neon. This Taco Bell spot features the track 'Fearless' which is signed to Notting Hill Music's LA label NHM LLC.
